ThinkPARALLAX in Cuernavaca
An opportuny for sharing experiences and best practices between two agencies: Ideograma and ThinkPARALLAX
In August we received the visit of ThinkPARALLAX (www.thinkparallax.com), a design agency located in Encinitas, California which focuses on the development of sustainable brands. Their managing director and founder, Jonathan Hanwit, got in touch with us at the beginning of the year to discover if there was empathy between us, with a view to bringing his team to Cuernavaca to spend a couple of days with us.
It was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations, in every sense. From the first moment both teams got along really well. We became instant friends and shared so much, not just professionally speaking but also finding out how much we have in common with respect to design and branding. We shared everything we know about corporate identity and they shared their knowhow on sustainable brands. The Parallax team also painted a mural in Cuernavaca, we ate a lot of tacos together, and we ended on a high note: a typically Mexican fiesta, with mariachis too.
They spent four days here and then went off to Mexico City for a couple of days, before returning to Encinitas.
Was there empathy? Of course there was! And our objective of giving our teams a unique and unforgettable experience designed to inspire us, was a huge success
